What is Diplomacy?

Diplomacy  can  be  defined   as the profession, activity, or skill of managing international relations, typically by a country's representatives abroad.

When you negotiate or broker a deal between two parties who are angry, this is an example of a time where you have shown diplomacy. When a president sits down to talk to the president of another foreign country in order to try to resolve a tense situation, this is an example of a time when diplomacy is necessary. This  job is  done   very   well  by  people  we  call Ambassadors or High Commissioners.

A High Commissioner is a senior representative who is sent by one Commonwealth country to live in another in order to work as an ambassador. A High Commissioner is the head of an international commission

Who is an Ambassador?

An ambassador is an official envoy, especially a high-ranking diplomat who represents a state and is usually accredited to another sovereign state or to an Ambassador-at-large

What is the Duty of Ambassadors?

Among other responsibilities, ambassadors ensure the security of their state citizens living in the receiving country, seek to build and maintain strong diplomatic and economic ties with foreign nations, and administer all the affairs of the embassy.
