NCLEX Application Process & Timeline
1. Initial Assessment
We begin by reviewing your educational background, nursing credentials, and chosen Board of Nursing. Based on your individual circumstances, we identify the applicable requirements and provide you with a clear list of the documents needed for your NCLEX application.
2. Application Preparation
We create a personalized visual timeline to help you organize and gather the required documentation. Depending on your Board of Nursing and individual circumstances, this may include:
- Official transcripts
- Certified diplomas and credentials
- Required certifications or coursework
- English language proficiency exams, such as TOEFL or IELTS
- Other documentation requested by the applicable Board of Nursing
Throughout this stage, you remain connected with The Dispatch team via email for guidance and support as you collect your documents.
3. Follow-Up & Application Support
We regularly check in on your progress and help identify potential delays, missing documents, or deficiencies. Our team provides guidance to help you address outstanding requirements and move your application forward.
4. Authorization to Test (ATT)
Once your application and supporting documentation have been reviewed by the applicable Board of Nursing and you have met its requirements, eligible applicants receive an Authorization to Test (ATT) from the relevant testing authority.
5. NCLEX-RN Examination
Congratulations—it's time to take the NCLEX-RN! With your ATT in hand, you can schedule and sit for the NCLEX-RN examination and take the next step toward your nursing career.
